In June, 25,388 vehicles were sold, making this the "Best Ever" months for all three units: Mercedes-Benz, smart, and Sprinter, making this the highest first-half sales record in history for the automaker. For the year, over 142,000 vehicles have been sold across all three units.
When we focus at Mercedes-Benz models alone, they made up 22,231 of vehicle sales in June, an increase of 7.6% compared to June 2011. In and around Winter Haven, Mercedes-Benz drivers may wonder what top-selling model classes in June were. Not surprisingly, they were three of the most popular model lines: Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, and the Mercedes-Benz M-Class.
Taking the top spot, the sporty Mercedes-Benz C-Class led the pack with over 6,500 units sold in the month of June. For the year, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class also has the lead in sales with 37,686 units sold.
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class in its 9th generation also had high sales in the month of June, with 5,589 units sold. In 2012, 30,366 Mercedes-Benz E-Class vehicles have been sold.
Finishing off the top three is the Mercedes-Benz M-Class, its top-selling SUV model class, with sales close to 2,900 in June, bringing annual totals to 20,626 units sold.
Around Winter Haven, Mercedes-Benz drivers may also have spotted a lot more Mercedes-Benz SL Roadsters on the road as well. The all-new Mercedes-Benz 2013 SL Roadster posted whopping sales in its debut last month with 346 units sold.
