Based on the most recent sales figures attained by Fields Motorcars in Lakeland, April marked the highest April on record in terms of sales, with over 22,000 Mercedes-Benz vehicles sold - a 23.8 percent increase over April 2011 figures, as reported by Mercedes-Benz USA. So far in 2012, 83,849 new Mercedes-Benz vehicles have been sold to happy customers.

Helping to boost sales were the ever-popular C-Class, E-Class and M-Class Mercedes-Benz models. In Orlando, Mercedes C-Class drivers love their C-Class vehicles, and it comes as no surprise that other do too. The sporty C-Class, a popular car choice for the younger crowd and those first-time Mercedes-Benz shoppers had sales of 6,424 units.

The ninth generation E-Class came in second with sales of 5,328 units. To round out the top three models, the M-Class had sales of 3,057 in April, reflecting an increase of over 50 percent compared to April 2011 sales figures.

In April, other Mercedes-Benz models also saw major gains in sales figures. The CLS-Class Coupe had a 5-fold increase in sales compared to April 2011 and the SLK Roadster saw sales double in April 2012. The SLS AMG supercar also saw sales figures increase 92.6 percent compared to April 2011.

Overall, Orlando Mercedes C-Class drivers can agree that April was a great month for Mercedes-Benz sales. When Mercedes-Benz sales along with smart brand and Sprinter sales were tallied, April 2012 sales totaled 25,066 - up 30.8 percent. Bringing the 2012 year-to-date sales total up to 91,972, up 22.4 percent, this made it the company's highest April on record.

We hope to see these great sales continue through the month of May, and we invite you to visit us at Fields Mercedes-Benz of Lakeland to see our vast selection of these and other top-selling Mercedes-Benz models. We hope to see you soon!
