It's hard to figure out which online auto recommendations are legit, and which have some sort of hidden agenda behind them, but we here at Fields Motorcars tend to trust the opinions of the editors over at Car and Driver magazine, mostly because they've been spot-on about our high-quality Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the past. If you're looking for a solid 2014 model year vehicle, their list of 2014 Editor's Choice selections is a terrific place to start.
There are a number of our vehicles on this list, which covers every imaginable segment of automobile in existence. Here are those that were mentioned:
2014 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class (Compact Luxury Crossover segment), 2014 Mercedes-Benz G-Class and 2014 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class (Full-Size Luxury Crossover segment), 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class and 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class (Mid-Size Luxury Car segment), 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class (Full-Size Luxury Car segment), 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class coupe (Entry-Luxury Coupe segment), 2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG® coupe and 2014 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class (Premium Performance Coupe and Convertible segment), 2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG® (Sport Sedan segment), 2014 Mercedes-AMG® SLS (Exotic Sports Car segment), 2014 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class (Ultimate Luxury Coupe segment), and 2014 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (Full-Size Van segment).
In all, Mercedes-Benz had vehicles representing ten of the 31 possible segments, which is even more impressive considering many of those segments were either non-luxury or segments (like minivan and pickup truck) for which Mercedes-Benz simply does not make any vehicles. In other words, if Mercedes-Benz had a car available in a segment, chances are pretty good it was a Car and Driver Editor's Choice.
When it comes to vehicles offered from Mercedes-Benz, Florida drivers don't typically need a whole lot of convincing, but if they do, this list is a great place to start.
