Since announcements about the new generation of E-Class vehicles have started coming out, we've waited with bated breath for more news, photos, and updates on the release. Scheduled to appear in the US this spring, the new E-Class will be a substantial update on what's good about Mercedes, as well as a departure from the familiar into exciting new auto territory. As Mercedes dealers, we can't wait to meet the new E-Class sedan and wagon on the horizon.
We are particularly looking forward to "Intelligent Drive", a suite of features that incorporates tech, convenience and safety to create exactly what its name implies: a smarter driving experience. It includes the highly-anticipated Active Lane Keeping Assist, pedestrian detection, and much more. An all-new feature called DISTRONIC PLUS® with Steering Assist, will make its debut in the E-Class. A new four-cylinder diesel engine option will also offer greater fuel efficiency, something that a growing number of drivers are prioritizing when they buy new cars.

New styling is another huge improvement on this class, and pairs form with function in an updated front end incorporating light elements to consolidate all lighting within the new headlamps to maintain that classic E-Class 'four eyed' look. There are two different front end designs available: a luxury version, which puts the Mercedes star on the hood, and a Sport version, which places it directly into the sports grille. The rest of the body styling is long, sleek, and futuristic.
