Mercedes-Benz vehicles are selling like hotcakes-the world just can't get enough of them, and as Mercedes dealers it's not hard for us to imagine why. The luxury and craftsmanship associated with the Mercedes-Benz brand is irresistible, and with each new release in 2013, more accessible and affordable than ever.
News that the automaker has sold more units in the first half of 2013 than ever before is encouraging, but definitely nothing shocking. Growth in multiple markets around the world, with 141,950 total units sold in the US alone. USA sales experienced a remarkable 10.4% growth, reflecting growing satisfaction among American Mercedes-Benz drivers and a burgeoning interest in the brand. The much-anticipated new E-Class vehicle in particular has had a warm welcome, with 21,910 E-Class sedans and estates already sold in June 2013.
Later this year we have the arrival of the 2014 S-Class in the States to look forward to, and we have no doubt that it will cause just as big of a splash as the other newly released 2014 Mercedes models, doing its part to build 2013 sales. But it isn't only the sleek sedans, coupes and wagons that are pulling their weight-Mercedes-Benz SUVs continue to enjoy worldwide popularity, with 156,055 units sold so far this year. In fact, the M-Class is the top-selling vehicle in its class, with the GLK-Class close behind after receiving 'first in class' distinction in the J.D. Power IQS Study.
It's been exhilarating watching the Mercedes-Benz brand grow and progress, each new model bringing us closer to the future. If you're ready to contribute to an already record sales year for Mercedes-Benz, come see us at your local Florida Mercedes-Benz dealer.
