We all know that the Mercedes-Benz AMG® lineup is the crème of the crop when it comes to performance. For power, force and even meaner style, the AMG® name brings to mind a world where cars drive fast and look awesome doing it. With the advent of the soon-to-come 2014 S-Class, it's only natural that we'd get pretty excited about the highly-anticipated and not-yet-available 2014 S63 AMG® sedan.
For starters, it's got plenty of juice. Its 577-horsepower engine pushes out an admirable 664 lb-ft of torque, giving it the magical ability to go from 0 to 60 mph in only four seconds. And it helps that this sedan's body is considerably lighter (to the tune of 220 pounds) due to lighter materials, a lightweight lithium-ion battery and a composite break system. Drivers will have no trouble at all reaching this vehicle's top speed of 155 mph.
Of course the handcrafted, high-performance engine is a no-brainer, but we think that this model has a lot more going on for it than that. Supple sport seats, brushed stainless steel accents, and optional massage and warmth packages are just the tip of the iceberg of what makes this model a real treat to drive. Its exterior is all sculpted, fluid lines, bright accents and lights, and forged light-alloy wheels.
