There's a misconception that people who buy luxury vehicles do so without any consideration of what the vehicle itself costs.  Not everybody who owns a Mercedes-Benz vehicle, however, is endlessly wealthy, and anybody who spends good money on a luxury car or SUV absolutely is going to want to get the most out of their investment.  If they wanted something cheap and unreliable, they wouldn't have purchased a Mercedes-Benz vehicle, right?

Well, the good news is that Forbes recently put together a list of what they consider to be the "10 Best Luxury Car Buys Of the Year" in an attempt to nail down which of said vehicles are actually worth the cash, and we're pleased to announce that the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Diesel was on the list.

For those unfamiliar with the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E250 BlueTEC®, it's a four-door sedan known for its smooth ride quality, excellent efficiency, strong build quality, and spacious interior, but Forbes looked at more than just features for their list; they also gave some consideration to cost.

And the 2-14 Mercedes-Benz E250 BlueTEC® certainly does well in that regard, too.  Not only does it feature the least depreciation of any other vehicle mentioned, but it also shows relatively low maintenance and repair costs, proving once again how reliable these vehicles really are.  Mercedes-Benz dealers can't help but gush at the idea that a vehicle like this one could be considered a value in the luxury car community.  We're hoping to keep it that way for a very long time.
