There are about a million different reasons a customer can have for buying a new car, and all of them are more or less equally important. When it comes to buying a luxury car, the quality of the interior can often carry a little more weight than several other criteria because that’s where the overwhelming majority of the advertised luxury resides.
Some vehicles bring more to the table than others, which is why Ward’s Auto puts out a "10 Best Interiors" list every year, and we here at Fields Motorcars are pleased to announce that the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S550 was among the ten vehicles named to that prestigious list this year.
To make the list, a vehicle must either be all-new or upgraded for the new model year, and the latest S-Class vehicles were updated for 2014. As such, it has become more luxurious than ever, which is likely the reason why Ward's singled it out.
The praise from Ward’s is overwhelmingly glowing: "Mercedes-Benz rewrites the interior playbook not only for its own brand but perhaps for all German luxury cars with the new S-Class, a cabin that exudes richness and style for the tech-savvy driver without being intimidating."
Specifically, they're referring to ambient lighting, perforated leather, built-in pillows for reclining rear seats, metallic-stained wood trim, a huge display screen and even a hot-stone massage treatment.
In just about every way, this is a vehicle that defines luxury, which is why when it comes to Mercedes-Benz, local FL drivers just can't seem to get enough. We’re honored to have this vehicle make the Ward's list, and we’re glad to see that Mercedes-Benz engineers' hard work paid off.
