This weekend, singer-songwriter Mayer Hawthorne will be playing a concert in Miami, and we have Mercedes-Benz to thank for it. More specifically, the automaker has organized a huge nine-city concert series featuring Hawthorne, Alabama Shakes and Young the Giant to help promote two new vehicles that they're very excited about: the 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class and the 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class.

As two of the more affordable models in the Mercedes-Benz lineup, it makes sense that the automaker would run promotions geared toward younger buyers, and this really feels like a fun way to go about it. At the shows, patrons can test drive either vehicle, while social media stuff will be going in the background and art from Mr. Brainwash will be available for perusal.

We here at Fields Motorcars are very excited about all of this, but not as excited as Mercedes-Benz U.S. vice president of marketing Drew Slaven:

"There's nothing better than going to a concert during the summer to see your favorite band in action," said Slaven. "Cars and music are a natural pairing, and Mercedes-Benz has created an unforgettable music experience at the Evolution Tour. We are honored to support the bands on this tour and are excited to provide a stage for them to share their musical journey."

The tour got underway in July and it will roll on through September, but for fans of Mercedes-Benz in Florida, the best bet is probably this weekend’s shindig in Miami. Get tickets online, and get yourselves ready for two very nice new Mercedes-Benz models debuting in the very near future.
