As the idea of a coupe-style four-door car grows more and more popular, vehicles like the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class stand out in a crowd of automobiles
trying to imitate the excellent and luxurious original. But just because the CLS-Class was the first car to really try this lovely-yet-practical body
style, doesn’t mean it has to hold onto its original look forever. That said, we here at Fields Motorcars are very happy to hear that Mercedes-Benz has
some excellent updates in store for the mid-cycle refresh of the CLS-Class.
For starters, the exterior will get even more gorgeous thanks to a slick new one-bar grille and innovative Active Multibeam LED headlights, which not only
adapt to what’s happening ahead of the vehicle but also look really slick. The car will also get a new rear bumper with redesigned taillights, giving the
next CLS-Class a new front and back end moving forward.
Inside, CLS-Class vehicles will get an updated COMAND infotainment center touchscreen control that is actually quite a bit larger than the outgoing
version. There's also a new multi-function steering wheel and quite a few smaller flourishes that make this car even more lavish and extravagant, as if
such a thing were even possible.
We believe that this mid-cycle second-generation refresh will be significant for these vehicles because when it comes to this particular model of Mercedes-Benz, Florida consumers have always been very eager. Word of these upgrades should only serve as cause to bump up that eagerness by several hundred percent!
