Every year, J.D. Power & Associates puts out their Vehicle Dependability Study, which looks at the reliability of three-year-old cars, and once again, Mercedes-Benz finished with an elite rating as the second-most dependable brand in the auto industry.
We here at Fields Motorcars have an excellent used and certified pre-owned inventory of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, so a study like this is really important for customers looking to get themselves into a relatively new luxury automobile. Also worth noting is that the industry average for number of problems per 100 vehicles actually went up for the 2014 model year, from 126 to 133, but the number of problems per 100 vehicles went down for Mercedes-Benz, from 115 to 106. That moved them from fifth place in 2013 to second place in 2014, a nice rise for so esteemed an auto brand.
Even better, several Mercedes-Benz models won segment awards for finishing in the top three in their respective classes. These included the Mercedes-Benz E-Class (Premium Midsize Car), Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class (Premium Compact Crossover SUV), Mercedes-Benz M-Class (Premium Midsize Crossover SUV), and Mercedes-Benz GL-Class (Premium Large SUV).
All of these models are available, both in new and used form, at your friendly neighborhood Mercedes-Benz dealer near Winter Haven. We’d love to get you set up for some test drives, particularly since you can go into the experience knowing that the vehicle you’re driving is one of the most reliable certified pre-owned vehicles in the country. That sort of reliability is undeniably important to consumers, and we’re very grateful that we’re able to offer it.
