For a long time, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class vehicles have been among our most popular automobiles, mostly because it’s hard to find an entry-level luxury sport sedan that’s quite as gorgeous and quite as loaded as this one. But despite the fact that it has always sold well, generational upgrades are a necessary part of any car’s evolution, and we’re pleased to announce that the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class will be a completely redesigned machine that we’ve been told will be more luxurious and modern than any of its predecessors.
To do this, Mercedes-Benz engineers have instituted several changes in the new model, starting with a new exterior design. This early in the process, it’s impossible for us to know what the car will look like, but we’ve been told it will be more aerodynamic than the current version and will be constructed of lightweight materials to help with efficiency.
Inside, the C-Class cars are expected to get exponentially more lavish, with a trendier design, higher-quality materials, and a whole slew of new infotainment and safety technologies that should keep these cars on the cutting edge of automotive luxury.
Fans of Mercedes-Benz in FL will also appreciate two new engine options: a turbocharged four-cylinder and a naturally-aspirated V6, both of which will boost performance over the outgoing models.
We know that these descriptions are all vague at this point, but sometime relatively soon, we’ll get a good look at the changes, and it seems likely that we’ll all fall in love with them on first sight. Consumers have loved the C-Class this long; an upgrade will only increase that love.
