Just because you're a luxury car buyer doesn't mean you aren’t also trying to get the best value possible. After all, there isn't a human being on the face of the earth that wouldn’t at least a want an opportunity to keep money in his or her bank account.
In this case, we're specifically talking about the 2015 Mercedes-Benz SL400, the newest trim in a really nice line of luxury convertibles available at your friendly neighborhood Lakeland Mercedes-Benz dealer. It will serve as the new entry-level model in the lauded Mercedes-Benz SL-Class, and thanks to a new drivetrain, it costs a pretty incredible 20% less than the SL550.
And really all one has to do is sign up for a less powerful drivetrain. All the same luxuries and optional upgrades are there, just with a different powertrain under the hood. You'll still be getting a folding hardtop able to change the SL400 from a coup to a roadster in only 16 seconds. You'll still be getting navigation, a wood trim, and heated leather seats as standard. You'll still be getting a premium harmon/kardon® sound system. The main difference is that the turbocharged V6 under the hood of the SL400 puts out about 100 hp and 160 lb-ft of torque fewer than the SL550. If you can live with that, then congratulations, you'll knock a pretty solid amount of money off of your monthly payment.
While the 2015 Mercedes-Benz SL400 is still unquestionably an impressive luxury vehicle, it's available at a less expensive price than the 2015 Mercedes-Benz SL550. We love providing the extra option for our customers, and we're guessing our customers are going to be excited about it, too.
