Like in any Mercedes-Benz vehicle, the C63 AMG® boasts an impressive engine, though this one is particularly monstrous thanks to its new 4.0-liter V8 engine capable of pushing out 469 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque on the base model and 503 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque on the C63 S trim. Those numbers obviously are pretty impressive, and they help make this vehicle really fun to drive. The good news, however, is that it’s also fairly economical to drive.
The EPA fuel efficiency numbers, for example, are higher than they’ve ever been in this particular model, with 25 MPG on the highway possible for the first time. While that’s not the most efficient Mercedes-Benz model in existence, it certainly is excellent for a V8 engine, and it gives drivers with a desire for power the opportunity to go fast and be reasonably friendly to the environment in the meantime.
