We don’t traditionally think of luxury vehicles as “budget buys,” mostly because the overwhelming majority of Mercedes-Benz customers are buying these vehicles knowing full well that they’re going to cost more than standard automobiles. That is, in fact, sort of the point.

Even though luxury cars often come with higher price tags than non-luxury models, that doesn’t mean values can’t be found within a segment. In fact, the Kelley Blue Book Best Buy Awards make an annual attempt to locate which automobiles are the sweetest balance between overall quality and overall cost, and as your Mercedes-Benz dealer, we here at Fields Motorcars are pleased to announce that the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class was the Luxury Car segment winner for the 2016 model year iteration of the KBB Best Buy Awards.

Specifically, KBB.com lauds the C-Class range for boasting “good looks, strong performance and a comfortable, yet compact package,” though even that is a bit vague in terms of the car’s 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine capable of dialing up 241 hp while also making really solid fuel efficiency numbers. It’s a beautiful car, frankly, and it drives like one would expect a Mercedes-Benz vehicle to drive.

To make all of this even better, the base price for the C-Class is actually lower than some of the higher trims of non-luxury sedans in the industry, which should be more than enough to prove this lavish four-door automobile’s relative value.

That is why Kelley Blue Book would give it an honor as enviable as the Best Buy Award for Luxury Cars, and we could not be more thrilled for our customers, who have the opportunity to own this delightful and luxurious car at so reasonable a price.
