You might remember about a year ago at this time, us talking about the record 2013 year in sales Mercedes-Benz had just wrapped up, and how proud we were to have been a part of it. At the time, we weren't sure if were possible to be more proud as a part of the Mercedes-Benz family.

But then 2014 happened.

Now, once again, we're talking about yet another record-setting year for the esteemed luxury automaker, and not by a slim margin. This past year saw U.S. Mercedes-Benz dealers combine to sell 330,391 units, a 5% boost over last year's record-setting 312,534 units. Add in over 25,000 Sprinter sales and several thousand more in other sub-brands, and Mercedes-Benz put up a best-ever year-to-date total of 366,589 models.

In every sense of the word, this past year was awesome. Led by sales of the completely redesigned 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, which was itself responsible for almost a quarter of the total vehicles sold this year (75,065 total), Mercedes-Benz posted a banner year that saw increases for models nearly across the board.

"The past year brought key milestones for Mercedes-Benz on both the product and customer service fronts," said Stephen Cannon, president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA. "Capped by another round of record sales, we're more aligned than ever in pairing a 'best or nothing' model lineup with the best ownership experience in the business."

As your certified dealer of Mercedes-Benz in Florida, we're thrilled to have played a part in these great numbers, and we hope 2015 breaks even more records!
