Specifically, four models, including the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class, 2015 Mercedes-Benz E-Class and 2015 Mercedes-Benz M-Class, were praised for including standard front crash prevention systems that actually brake automatically when a crash appears imminent.

It's a required criteria in earning an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ designation, which each of the aforementioned models have achieved. With the standard pre-collision system and really solid crash test scores, these vehicles are keeping drivers safer than they've ever been, and the IIHS is understandably very thrilled about that.
