When the March 2016 sales numbers came out for Mercedes-Benz, numbers that showed tremendous growth over this month a year ago, it was obvious what the reason was for the boost in productivity. Consumers all over the country are gobbling up all of these great new Mercedes-Benz SUVs like leftover Easter jelly beans, which means Lakeland consumers should be especially excited about the recent announcement that one more is being added to the mix: the stylish Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe.

Based on the new Mercedes-Benz GLC crossovers, this new variation of the model puts significant focus on style. Specifically, it swoops back the roof on the back end of the vehicle and drops the overall ride height by about 4 cm. The sportier roofline makes it look much closer to a coupe than a full-size SUV, which is precisely the point of the new model.

There are changes in terms of performance, too, as the vehicle features Eco, Comfort, Sport and Sport Plus driving modes, the latter of which stiffens and lowers the suspension for a more entertaining driving experience, while the engine is expected to be a turbocharged four-cylinder beast capable of making upwards of 241 hp.

Other features in the new GLC Coupe, arriving at your Florida Mercedes-Benz dealer in early 2017, include a sunroof, keyless ignition, a power liftgate, and all sorts of slick modern technologies, not the least of which is a great infotainment system controlled by a 7-inch display. Heated and cooled seats and an air suspension are some of the optional add-ons that consumers can add on if they were to feel so inclined.

There’s nothing wrong with a little sportiness, and this new coupe version of the GLC SUV provides precisely that. All that said, we are excited to stock the model here at Fields Motorcars sometime in the next year.
