Anybody who knows anything about Mercedes-Benz understands that the past is just as important as the future. The brand holds its classic automobiles in deep reverence, while also working to make sure that the new autos, such as the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet, are as up-to-date and modern as they possibly can be.

In that regard, Mercedes-Benz cars are a lot like a good bottle of wine, which might be why Mercedes-Benz USA recently put together a two-minute promotional video showing the aforementioned Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet cruising the beautiful California countryside en route to one of the more esteemed vineyards in Napa Valley: Palmaz Vineyards.

Throughout the short film, there’s a voiceover of a woman talking about the process of making that wine that sounds an awful lot like the process of engineering a new Mercedes-Benz automobile:

“Winemaking is difficult because there are no right answers. It’s a subjective art. Oftentimes it’s an expression of self-confidence. Every year is the challenge of dealing with a completely new variable, and that’s the magic, capturing the subtleties. That’s what we’re pursuing every year.”

The gorgeous new Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and all vehicles currently sold at your friendly neighborhood Florida Mercedes dealer, does much of the same, thanks in large part to massive advancements in technology.

“Technology empowers and helps you to be more creative and subjective,” explains the voiceover. “You spend all year thinking about what you could have done better and what you want to do for the next year.”

Next year is now, though, and we encourage you to stop by our dealership sometime soon to take this slick convertible for a test drive. Florida may be on the opposite side of the country as Napa Valley, but there are plenty of roads perfect for driving in a convertible here, as well.
