It only has been about year since the Mercedes-Benz GLC debuted, but already it has established itself as a delightful option for Lakeland, FL customers who want the best the automaker has to offer in terms of features, performance and luxury, but at a price much more in line with what entry-level luxury car buyers can afford. In just a little over 12 months this vehicle already has accomplished that and as such this new Mercedes SUV continues to earn more than its fair share of accolades.
The most recent of those honors is a nomination for the Motor Trend SUV of the Year. After rattling off an impressive list of SUVs among this year’s contenders, the respected automotive publication narrowed the list of finalists down to six, and considering the Mercedes-Benz GLC has topped competitors in a number of Motor Trend comparison tests over the course of the last few months, it shouldn’t come as too big a surprise to see this lovely, lavish SUV make the list.
“Wow. This car is just nice,” said Motor Trend assistant editor Christian Seabaugh. “I hop in and immediately feel relaxed. The seats are sofa-soft yet still supportive, all the touch points feel like a million bucks, and the cabin looks and feels luxurious.”
We’ll find out who actually wins this award in the coming weeks, but the nomination in and of itself is a considerable honor.
