Every time a new model year rolls around, it is the right of the customer to get excited about all of the new offerings that our Florida Mercedes-Benz dealers provides, and the 2018 model year is of course no exception. While there are plenty of new and updated models to look forward to in the coming months, one that our customers here in Lakeland, FL are particularly thrilled about is the extension of the still relatively new Mercedes-Benz E-Class, which this year will feature the new 2018 Mercedes-Benz E 400 4MATIC® sedan.
While the Mercedes-Benz E-Class model lineup is only a year old, the V6-powered Mercedes-Benz E 400 wagon came out later in the year, and now we will be given the opportunity to see how that twin-turbocharged V6 engine will work under the hood of the sedan version of this highly-acclaimed automobile.
With 329 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque, it offers more than enough boost to make any driver happy, and as could probably be construed from the model’s official name, it only comes in four-wheel drive. So far, the automaker has not officially released power numbers, but the wagon jolted from zero-to-60 mph in just 5.2 seconds. The sedan version is considerably lighter, meaning a sub-5.0-second time seems likely.
