With the solstice now behind us it is officially winter here in Lakeland, FL, though based on the weather you would not necessarily know it. Frankly, the year-long warm climate is one of the best reasons anybody would ever have to move into this part of the country, but truth be told the lack of ice and snow does rob Mercedes-AMG® drivers from making the most of their automobiles’ performance capabilities.
We’re not asking for snow here at Fields Motorcars, but it would be nice to attend the brand’s AMG® Winter Sporting 2017 taking place this winter in Sweden, which obviously is not short on snow in the least. It’s a pricy endeavor, but this trip is certainly worthy of the cost.
Upon arriving in Sweden, patrons are given access to some of the most prestigious luxury cars in the Mercedes-AMG® lineup, all of which are equipped with snow tires and then cut loose on driving courses that would make Jack Frost drool. Instructors give drivers a better sense of how to best enjoy themselves in the slippery conditions, while other experiences like the viewing of the Northern Lights and all sorts of delicious gourmet meal preparations make the trip sound like a dream vacation for any fan of Mercedes-Benz.
It’s not for everybody, we know, but even without snow here in Florida our Mercedes-AMG® models are worthy of test drives. Come on out to our dealership and try any of them on for yourself, or, if you’re looking to travel, start looking into making plans for your trip to Sweden in the forthcoming months to take part in AMG® Winter Sporting 2017!
