The really nice thing about Lakeland, FL is that it’s located nearly in the middle of the state. Almost anything anybody would want to do in Central Florida is within an hour drive of our fine city, which means it’s incredibly easy for any Mercedes-Benz driver to hop behind the wheel of their vehicle and make a really fun road trip in a single day. Here are some of our favorites:
Orlando, FL – Obviously there are a million things to do in Orlando, including everything from Disney World to Universal Studios to Sea World. In a lot of ways, it’s the theme park capital of the U.S., and it’s incredibly easy to get there and back to Lakeland, FL in a single day.
Tampa, FL – Equally close in the opposite direction is Tampa, where visitors can hit up some great beaches, take a dolphin boat tour, visit Busch Gardens, and eat at some truly amazing restaurants. While it’s not quite as touristy as Orlando, that can be a good thing for people that want a little quieter day trip.
Daytona Beach, FL – Road trippers also can hop into their Mercedes-Benz vehicles and make their way to the other coast in a single day, and Daytona has a lot to do, too, including the Daytona International Speedway, some excellent museums, and of course plenty of great beaches.
