Here at Fields Motorcars we certainly have seen more than our fair share of positive press regarding the updated Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan that was unveiled earlier in the month, but we just recently have been introduced to a similar refresh for the coupe version of the vehicle, which in both its hardtop and convertible forms has solidified its position as one of the most attractive automobiles in the entire stable. These new luxury cars are flat-out lovely.
The updates for the latest version of this automobile include first and foremost a couple of new engines. The first is a powerful V8 under the hood of the Mercedes-Benz S 560 iteration of the vehicle, which is capable of producing upwards of 463 horsepower, while the second is the Mercedes-AMG® S 65 version, which tops out at a whopping 621 horsepower.
Beyond the performance, the everyday practicality of the vehicle also has increased. Active Distance Assist has been updated to integrate the improved adaptive cruise control and Active Steering Assistance features, while Intelligent Drive now can use updated navigation mapping software to automatically adjust the speed of the vehicle on bending roads.
Beyond that, the car is as luxurious and lovely as it ever has been, giving drivers the sort of complete package they have come to expect from their Mercedes dealer in Florida. Frankly, drivers in Lakeland, FL are going to have a hard time finding cars more gorgeous and more fun to drive than the refreshed Mercedes-Benz S-Class models. The convertible, especially here in the Sunshine State, seems likely to be especially popular for test drives once it makes its way to our facility, and we can’t wait to take customers out on those test drives!
