There is an arms race in the automotive world these days, but unlike in years past where that arms race had everything to do with horsepower and infotainment technology, the new race is the one toward complete and total electrification. It’s a process that should fine-tune some existing favorites and could also be responsible for what the automaker estimates should be at least 50 new electric model options from now through 2022.
