Power
The 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class has three different engines to choose from. The E350 trim comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder unit that cranks out 255-horsepower. The E350e, on the other hand, is a plug-in hybrid, and its 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine works with an electric motor to produce 315 horsepower.
Finally, there’s the E450 trim, which comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine and a 48-volt battery that combine to generate 363 horsepower. As an added bonus, all engines are paired with a smooth-shifting nine-speed automatic transmission.
Interior
You can always count on a Mercedes-Benz car for great comfort, and according to Car and Driver, the 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class has some of the most comfortable seats on the market. Heated front seats that also include memory settings are standard, but you can also opt for massing front seats and ventilated front-seat cushions.
Tech
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class has many built-in advanced features, and the star of the show is the MBUX® infotainment system. In addition to controlling the system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, it also works with voice commands. Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ connectivity comes standard, and extra features include wireless device charging and a Burmester sound system.
Safety
If you want some real peace of mind out on the road, you’ll appreciate the standard safety features in the 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class. These include blind spot monitoring and automatic emergency braking, but for more security, you can get lane departure warning, automatic high-beam headlights, and adaptive cruise control.
