All the exotic cars that we sell here at Fields Motorcars are constructed with long-lasting, high-quality parts from automotive stalwarts like Mercedes-Benz. Even so, certain car parts still need replacement after a certain amount of time to keep the car running great. Here are some of the most commonly replaced car parts that can be purchased at our OEM car parts shop at Fields Motorcars.

Air Filter

The role of the air filter is to prevent dirt and other particles from entering the engine. If the air filter gets dirty, it will prevent the proper airflow and cause the engine to run poorly and inefficiently.

Spark Plugs and Wires

The spark plugs are fed an electrical charge that creates a spark that then ignites the mixture of air and fuel in the engine. If the spark plugs become dirty or corroded, they will cause the engine to misfire, which means that they don’t spark when they should.

Fuel Filter

Similar to the air filter, the fuel filter prevents contaminants from getting into the engine via the fuel line. A clogged fuel filter will prevent the motor from running as it should.

Alternator

The role of the alternator is to create the electricity that powers many parts of your car while the engine is turned on. If the alternator fails, as it can when the odometer on your Mercedes-Benz vehicle gets high, you’ll experience issues with the electrical components (radio, headlights, etc.) and starting your car.

Battery

Your car’s battery needs to be replaced every five or six years to ensure that you don’t get stuck in your garage with a dead battery. Even after a jump start or recharge, your battery can fail, so don’t hesitate to come down to our service center.
